Just finished watching a documentary on Polio in America
One of the main things that I took away was that Dr. Jonas Salk was definitely a cutie.

I stand by my statements. Beat Albert Sabin to a polio vaccine (even though Sabin did everything he could to try to discredit him and his research), and in the adorkable sweetheart race.

Did you know our president pro tempore is fucking badass? I didn’t.
If you’re thinking “Wow, it sure looks like he’s missing an arm in that last picture” maybe you should just skip to here.
Rest In Peace, Senator Daniel Inouye. You are a true American hero, especially as a Japanese-American and a disabled American.
His last words were apparently “Aloha”.

Just Greg Graffin
Why Greg Graffin has been one of my punk heroes for almost a decade now.
Because I’ve never looked like a “standard” punk. I look like the kid next door that your parents always point out as being polite. I’m a “square” (A square going nowhere, to quote the Descendents). However, I could school you on punk music, history, and philosophy any day of the week. I choose to help the world through educating myself so that I can educate others.

I MET DANIEL CLOWES!
That was a thing that happened today.
I met motherfucking Daniel Clowes, the comic book genius behind “Ghost World”, “David Boring”, “20th Century Eightball”, “Like a Velvet Glove Cast In Iron”, and “Ice Haven”.
He signed my copy of “Pussey!” and was really nice.

This is probably the only 9/11-related thing that I will be posting today.
